In the 1930s, the rare earth oxides were applied to the ceramic industry, and our country began to work in this area since the 1970s. Research shows that the introduction of rare earth oxides can improve ceramic nature, but the change is not a direct result of the rare earth oxides, but because of rare earth elements make body for the crystalline phase of the type, shape, size, distribution and contains pores because of the change of microstructures. Al2O3 content is around 90% alumina porcelain porcelain (90), has a high mechanical strength and wear resistance, and good high temperature thermal performance, costs are relatively low, in domestic has a broad market, its application in the machinery, ceramics, chemical industry, metallurgy, building materials, etc. The application of rare earth in high alumina porcelain to reduce the temperature of sintering and improve the quality of porcelain is the current industry needs [1 ~ 3]. The study found that adding a moderate amount of single rare earth oxide can promote the sintering degree of alumina ceramics and improve the wear resistance of the aluminum oxide [4 ~ 7].
