Classification of wear resistant pipes

Jul 16, 2019Leave a message

Wear-resistant steel pipes are mainly divided into wear-resistant ceramic pipes, cast stone wear-resistant pipes, cast steel wear-resistant pipes and pasted wear-resistant pipes. Wear-resistant steel pipes are widely used in electric power, metallurgy, mining, coal, chemical and other industries as grinding abrasive materials such as sand, stone, coal powder, ash, aluminum liquid and corrosive media.

Wear-resistant ceramic tube

It is made by high-tech production process--self-growth high-temperature clutch synthesis method. The tube is composed of three layers of corundum ceramic, transition layer, steel pipe (seamless pipe, welded pipe) from the inside to the outside. The ceramic layer is formed into dense corundum porcelain (AL2O3) at a temperature higher than 2200 ° C, and is formed firmly with the steel pipe through the transition layer. Combine. The composite pipe has fully exerted the strength, toughness, impact resistance, good welding performance and high hardness, high wear resistance, corrosion resistance and heat resistance of the steel tube, which overcomes the low hardness, poor wear resistance and poor toughness of the steel tube. specialty. The outer wall is 6-16 mm thick and 3-8 mm behind the inner wall. Pipe diameter range DN20-DN1500.

Cast stone wear tube

The outer layer is a spiral welded pipe, a seamless pipe or a straight welded pipe, and the inner wall is cast stone. Cast stone is a processed silicate crystalline material, using natural rock (basal rock, diabase and other basic rock, and shale) or industrial waste (blast furnace slag, steel slag, copper slag, zinc slag, ferroalloy) The slag, etc. is the main raw material, and the crystals prepared by the processes of compounding, melting, pouring, heat treatment, etc. are arranged in a regular, hard, and fine non-metallic industrial material. Cast stone has good corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and its Mohs hardness is ~8, second only to diamond and corundum. However, its toughness and impact resistance are poor, and cutting is difficult. The outer wall is 6-12 mm thick and the inner wall is 25-35 mm thick. Pipe diameter range DN100-DN600.

Cast steel wear tube

Cast steel (including alloy steel), its manufacturing process is relatively simple. However, due to the limitations of the material itself and the limitations of the process, the surface hardness of the cast steel material (about 60) is much lower than that of the ceramic (80 or more). The wall thickness is 12-40 mm. Pipe diameter range DN20-DN900.

Paste wear tube

The outer layer is a seamless steel pipe or a straight seam welded pipe, and the inner wall is a wear-resistant ceramic lining plate which is made of AL2O3 as the main raw material (actually corundum ceramic), which is made of rare metal oxide as a flux and is calcined by a high temperature of one thousand seven hundred degrees. Corundum ceramics, which are made of a combination of special rubber and high-strength organic/inorganic binders. The outer wall is 6-12 mm thick and the inner wall is 6-16 mm thick. Not subject to pipe diameter restrictions.

The above four types of wear-resistant pipes have their own different characteristics, and you can choose the best cost-effective pipe according to working conditions. Thank you for your review
