Description

Chromium Carbide Clad Welding Plate is a plate product specially used in large area wear conditions. It is made of a certain thickness of wear-resistant layer with high hardness and good wear resistance compounded by surfacing method on the surface of ordinary low carbon steel or low-alloy steel with good toughness and plasticity.

Thickness and common specifications:.

 5+3, 6+4, 6+6, 8+6, 8+8, 10+6, 10+8, 10+10,14+6, 20+10 

Layout size: (1.4m*3.4m) ( 1.45m*3.45m) (2m*3.4m) etc.

The size can also be customized according to customer requirements, and parts such as welding bolts can be processed.


Performance 

1High hardness and good wear resistance. The carbides in the wear layer structure are distributed in fibrous form, and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. The hardness can reach HRC62, and the secondary hardening phenomenon will occur within a certain range to further improve the resistance. Grinding performance can reach 5-10 times of ordinary steel plate.       

 2.High toughness and good impact resistance. The matrix material is made of low carbon steel or low alloy steel plate with good toughness and plasticity. The basic characteristics of hardness, high toughness composite materials, good impact resistance and wear resistance. 

3.The wear-resistant layer and the matrix have high bonding strength. The wear-resistant layer and the base material are metallurgically bonded, and the bond is firm and does not fall off.                                   

4.The corrosion-resistant and high-temperature wear-resistant layer material contains high chromium content, and also contains manganese, molybdenum, The alloy carbides formed by niobium and other components have strong stability at high temperatures, and can maintain high hardness, while also having good oxidation resistance.
